Our Story
Galerie El Fenn
Galerie El Fenn began not as a business, but as a passion. A passion for the intricate dance of history and art that thrives in the alleyways of Marrakech. Our founder, a native of the historic Derb Laksour, grew up surrounded by the hum of artisans at work, the scent of cedarwood, and the vibrant colors of hand-dyed textiles.
This gallery is the culmination of a lifelong dream to preserve and share these treasures with the world. We believe every item in our collection has a soul. From the hand-hammered brass of a lantern to the complex knots of a Berber rug, each piece carries the story of its maker and the generations of tradition that guided their hands.
Margoul Mohammed
Mohamed Margoul is a Moroccan individual known for his recent donation of traditional Berber artifacts to the Mediterranean Foundation, following in his late brother Saïd Margoul's footsteps to build a collection for a museum in Marrakech, highlighting local heritage.
He met Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari of the foundation in Marrakech's Medina, leading to these contributions to preserve Moroccan history and culture.
